Job Description

Title: RORO Sales Manager WAFA

Basic Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RORO Business Sales Manager to drive the sales and business development activities in the West Africa region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roll-on/roll-off (RORO) logistics, shipping, and sales, with a deep understanding of the West African market dynamics. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships in a competitive environment.

Main Tasks

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets for RORO services in West Africa.
• Identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to optimize business performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including automotive manufacturers, logistics companies, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Identify and acquire new business opportunities in the RORO segment across West Africa.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service with clients and partners.
• Provide insights and recommendations for business adjustments based on market intelligence.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide forecasts to senior management.
• Analyze sales data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  

Competencies/Skills

• Good commandof business English is mandatory
• Strong MS Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word skills
• Travel will be required

Person Specification

• 5-7 yrs experiences in RORO business
• Bachelor degree or higher education background
• Ability to work as part of a team and alone
• Ability to prioritize workload with conflicting requests for resources, knowing the difference between important and urgent
