Job Description
Title: Project Cargo Sales Manager
Basic Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven person to lead and grow our business in the specialized field of project cargo logistics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing sales for large-scale and complex cargo movements, including oversized and heavy-lift shipments. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, market knowledge, and exceptional customer relationship skills to capture new opportunities and deliver customized logistics solutions.
Main Tasks
- Identify and penetrate target markets for project cargo services
- Followthe sales cycle for project cargo opportunities, from prospecting to closing.
- Develop bespoke proposals forlarge-scale cargo transport.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including automotive manufacturers, logistics companies, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service with clients and partners.
- Provide insights and recommendations for business adjustments based on market intelligence.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide forecasts to senior management.
- Analyze sales data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Competencies/Skills
- Good commandof business English is mandatory
- Strong MS Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word skills
- Travel will be required
Person Specification
- 5-7 yrs experiences in Project Cargo or related business
- Bachelor degree or higher education background
- Ability to work as part of a team and alone
- Ability to prioritize workload with conflicting requests for resources, knowing the difference between important and urgent
